Starlight Investments is a privately held Canadian real estate investment and asset management company based in Toronto, founded in 2011 by Daniel Drimmer. As of 2024 the company owned about 70,000 multi family housing units, split between Canada and the United States, along with eight million square feet of commercial space and more than 600 properties across Canada, making it the largest private landlord in the country. Its growth has come through major acquisitions, including the purchase of TransGlobe REIT for one billion dollars in 2012 and Northview Apartments REIT in 2020.
