Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. is a Japanese real estate company headquartered in Tokyo, one of the largest property developers in Japan and a core member of the Mitsui Group of companies. It was established in 1941, consolidating the real estate operations of the historic Mitsui business house, and grew into a diversified developer active in office buildings, residential housing, retail complexes and hotels. Its retail brands include the LaLaport shopping mall chain and Mitsui Outlet Park, and the company has also expanded into overseas markets including the United States and other parts of Asia. Mitsui Fudosan ranks among the largest real estate companies in the world by market capitalization.
