This child group collects Metals and Mining members headquartered in Europe, including the United Kingdom, the Nordic countries, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain, and Central and Eastern Europe including Russia and Turkey. It gathers the major diversified miners and metals traders headquartered in London and Switzerland (Anglo American, Glencore, Antofagasta, Rio Tinto), the integrated steel groups of continental Europe (ArcelorMittal, ThyssenKrupp, Voestalpine), and the Nordic, Iberian and post-Soviet metals producers whose operations and listings are centered here, even where the mines themselves lie on other continents, as is common for London-listed and Swiss-domiciled global mining houses.
