Valterra Platinum Limited

Valterra Platinum Limited, formerly Anglo American Platinum Limited, is a South African mining company headquartered in Johannesburg and the world's largest primary producer of platinum, accounting for about 38 percent of the world's annual supply. The company was founded in 1995 through the unbundling of Johannesburg Consolidated Investments and was demerged from Anglo American on May 31, 2025; most of its operations lie in the Bushveld Igneous Complex, a region containing chromium, vanadium, titaniferous magnetite, and platinum group metals, concentrated northwest and northeast of Johannesburg. Valterra trades on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker VALT, led by Chairman Norman Mbazima and CEO Craig Miller.
