Fletcher Building

Fletcher Building is a New Zealand construction management company that manufactures and distributes building products and undertakes residential development, organised into divisions covering light building products, distribution, heavy building products, and residential and development. Headquartered in Auckland, it employs about 12,000 people across New Zealand and Australia. The company traces its roots to Fletcher Construction, which grew into the Fletcher Challenge conglomerate, New Zealand's largest business in 1981, before Fletcher Building was separated out as an independent company in 2001 and listed on the New Zealand and Australian stock exchanges.
