Buzzi S.p.A.

Buzzi S.p.A. is an Italian building materials manufacturer that produces cement, ready mix concrete and construction aggregates, headquartered in Casale Monferrato, a town long known as Italy's cement capital. It took its current form in September 1999 when Buzzi Cementi, founded as Fratelli Buzzi SpA by brothers Pietro and Antonio Buzzi in 1907, took over Unicem, founded as Cementi Marchino by Luigi Marchino in 1878, under the name Buzzi Unicem. The company has since expanded into subsidiaries and facilities across Europe, North Africa and the Americas, and the Buzzi family still controlled about 59 percent of ordinary shares as of 2024.
