The firm ranks among the largest law firms by profits per partner, with about 840 attorneys across 13 offices, nine of them outside the United States, and reported 2025 revenue of about 2.1 billion dollars. Its long international history includes work financing infrastructure projects such as the Panama Canal, alongside episodes its own history records as controversial, including aiding Nazi Germany's arms buildup and involvement in the 1954 Guatemalan coup d'etat.
