Dentons is a multinational law firm based in the United States, formed on March 28, 2013 through a three way merger, though its lineage traces back to the Denton Hall firm founded in London in 1788 by Samuel Denton. It operates as a decentralized Swiss verein with no single headquarters, its senior leadership working out of London, New York and Washington, D.C., with London holding the largest office by lawyer count. As of 2024 Dentons is the world's largest law firm by headcount, with more than 5,600 lawyers across over 160 offices in more than 80 countries, and reported revenue of 2.899 billion dollars in 2019.
