The Georgia and Florida Railroad was a southern United States railway operating from 1926 to 1963, running a main line from Madison, Florida to Greenwood, South Carolina, and carrying 321 miles of track by 1960 devoted entirely to freight with no passenger service. It succeeded an earlier Georgia and Florida Railway that had operated from 1906 to 1926. The Southern Railway acquired control in 1963, reorganizing the company as the Georgia and Florida Railway before merging it into the Central of Georgia Railroad subsidiary in 1971.
