Cincinnati, Lebanon and Northern Railway

The Cincinnati, Lebanon and Northern Railway was a local passenger and freight railroad company in southwestern Ohio, connecting Cincinnati to Dayton by way of Lebanon. It was built in the late nineteenth century to give Lebanon and Warren County better transportation, and was known locally as the Highland Route because its ridge-line path between the Little and Great Miami rivers left it unaffected by floods such as the Great Dayton Flood of 1913.
