The Pend Oreille Valley Railroad, carrying the reporting mark POVA, is a short line railroad based in Usk, in northeast Washington, serving communities across eastern Washington and northern Idaho. It was established in 1979 after the Port of Pend Oreille acquired a section of former Milwaukee Road track between Newport and Metaline Falls, with freight service beginning on October 1, 1979 over 41 miles of track.
