Porthgain Railway

The Porthgain Railway was a narrow gauge industrial railway in Pembrokeshire, Wales, built to a 3 foot gauge to carry quarried stone the roughly 625 yards from the Pen Clegyr and St Brides quarries down to Porthgain harbour. It operated from the late 1880s until 1931, moving stone for shipment by sea rather than carrying passengers, and was abandoned once quarrying ceased. Its route survives as a levelled strip on the clifftop beside the coastal path into Porthgain harbour.
