NI Railways

NI Railways, also known as Northern Ireland Railways, is the railway operator serving Northern Ireland, formed in 1967 when the Ulster Transport Authority split into separate rail and road operations, and now run as a subsidiary of Translink. It is vertically integrated, running train operations, rolling stock maintenance, infrastructure upkeep and pricing itself, and it operates on Irish gauge track with no direct physical connection to the rest of the United Kingdom's rail network. The company runs a 333 kilometer network serving 54 stations with a fleet of 47 trains, and jointly operates the Enterprise service to Dublin with Iarnrod Eireann.
