The Belfast and County Down Railway was an Irish gauge railway company in Ireland, later Northern Ireland, linking Belfast with County Down. Built in the 19th century, it was absorbed into the Ulster Transport Authority in 1948, and all of its lines except the route between Belfast and Bangor were closed in the 1950s, though a section near Downpatrick has since been restored by a heritage line, the Downpatrick and County Down Railway.
