The Berks and Hants Extension Railway was an English railway company authorised by an 1859 act of Parliament to extend an existing line west from Hungerford in Berkshire to Devizes in Wiltshire. The extension opened on 11 November 1862 and was built and operated as part of the Great Western Railway network, intended as part of a more direct route between London and Exeter that the GWR never fully completed.
