Orell Fussli is a Swiss banknote printing, publishing and bookselling company headquartered in Zurich, founded by Christoph Froschauer in 1519 as a book printer and publisher. It has been traded on the SIX Swiss Exchange since 1897, making it the oldest continuously publicly traded company in Switzerland. The company printed Switzerlands first postage stamps in 1843 and has been the sole printer of Swiss banknotes since 1976, and it also operates Europes largest bookshop, at its Kramhof location in Zurich, opened in 1993. Orell Fussli reported operating income of 272.8 million Swiss francs in 2025 and employed about 684 people.
