The International Group of Entrepreneurs, known as the IGE Group, is one of Myanmar's five largest conglomerates, made up of 13 subsidiaries employing 4,000 people. Founded in 1994 in Burma and registered in Singapore in 2001, the group is headquartered in Yangon, Myanmar and operates across timber, oil and gas, electricity, banking, hotels, telecommunications and construction. Its operations include Myanmar's second largest timber trading company and businesses exporting Burmese rice.
