Public Bank Berhad

Public Bank Berhad is a bank headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, offering financial services in Malaysia and across the Asia-Pacific region. It was established in 1966 by Teh Hong Piow, a former general manager at Maybank, and was listed on the stock exchange the following year. The bank held about RM432.8 billion in total assets as of 2019, ranking first in Malaysia by shareholders' funds, second by market capitalisation behind Maybank, and third by total assets, offering personal banking, commercial banking, Islamic banking, investment banking and share broking with a focus on retail customers and small and medium enterprises.
