Deutsche Boerse operates the Xetra electronic trading platform, the Eurex derivatives exchange, and the Clearstream securities settlement and custody business, making it one of the largest operators of financial exchange and post-trade infrastructure in Europe, comparable to the already-live London Stock Exchange Group and CME Group in the exchange business it competes in.
