Mediobanca

Mediobanca S.p.A. is an Italian investment bank founded in 1946 to help finance Italy's post-World War II reconstruction, set up by banking executives to provide medium-term financing to manufacturers. It now operates as an international banking group across four divisions, wealth management, corporate and investment banking, consumer finance, and insurance, with offices in Milan, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Luxembourg, New York and Paris. Mediobanca is listed on the FTSE MIB index, and as of October 2025 it is a subsidiary of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena following that bank's acquisition of an 86.3 percent controlling stake.
