Groupe Bruxelles Lambert

Groupe Bruxelles Lambert, known as GBL, is a Belgian holding company invested across multiple industries, in both listed and private companies. As of the end of March 2026 it reported a net asset value of 13.3 billion euros, a market capitalisation of approximately 10 billion euros, and a total portfolio value of 11.1 billion euros. GBL relies on a stable family shareholder base consisting of the Frere and Desmarais (Power Corporation of Canada) families, and absorbed Pargesa Holding in a 2021 merger after the two groups had been bound by a shareholders' agreement since 1990.
