Aegon Ltd. is a life insurance, pensions and asset management company that originated as a Dutch public company and is headquartered in the Netherlands. It was listed on Euronext Amsterdam as a constituent of the AEX index and, at one point, employed about 26,000 people. In 2022 Aegon agreed to sell its Dutch operations to ASR Nederland, transferring the Aegon trade name in the Netherlands to ASR while its Knab direct bank and TKP pension unit kept their own names, and the company subsequently reincorporated in Bermuda.
