Eroski is a Spanish supermarket chain headquartered in Elorrio, in the Basque Country, founded in 1969 as a cooperative among ten supermarkets in the Biscay and Gipuzkoa regions. Operating roughly 1,000 stores across Spain, France and Gibraltar under a worker-consumer cooperative structure within the Mondragon Corporation group, it sells groceries, pharmacy goods and fuel and employed about 30,000 people as of 2020.
