Netto Marken-Discount is a German discount supermarket chain owned by the Edeka Group cooperative, operating mainly in the south and west of Germany. It grew rapidly from 1,000 stores in 2004 to 4,000 stores by 2009, at which point it was the largest discounter in Germany.
