It includes long-established family regional brewers across Lancashire, Cheshire and Cumbria (Timothy Taylor's of Keighley, Thwaites Brewery of Blackburn, Robinsons Brewery of Stockport, J.W. Lees of Middleton in Greater Manchester, Hydes of Salford, Jennings Brewery of Cockermouth in the Lake District), plus Copper Dragon Brewery and Kirkstall Brewery of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal corridor, Oldham Brewery, and Magee Marshall and Matthew Brown, two historic Lancashire brewing companies later absorbed into larger groups. At 14 members it sits well under this atlas's oversized-group threshold and needs no further split.
