The Kernel Brewery

The Kernel Brewery is a craft brewery in Bermondsey, London, England, founded in 2009 by Evin O'Riordain as one of London's first craft brewers, and it is credited with helping inspire the founding of around a hundred new microbreweries in the capital within its first ten years. It began on a small 6.5-hectolitre setup on Druid Street before upgrading in 2012 to a 32-hectolitre plant at the Spa Terminus railway arches on Dockley Road, and it still sells about 90 percent of its output in London, prioritizing quality over volume and varying its hop choices with each year's crop. Its range runs from American-inspired ales to traditional British porters and stouts, including its cask-conditioned Table Beer, a 3 percent ABV pale ale first brewed in 2012 that remains one of its regular weekly offerings.
