Astika is a brewery in Haskovo, in southern Bulgaria, that produces a 5 percent ABV blond pilsner using deep water drawn from the Thrace region and holds a leading position in Bulgaria's premium beer segment. It was originally part of Anheuser-Busch InBev's Central European holdings until CVC Capital Partners bought those operations for 2.23 billion euros in October 2009 and rebranded them as StarBev. Molson Coors Brewing Company acquired StarBev, and with it Astika, in 2012 and continues to own the brand.
