Banks Barbados Brewery, formally Banks (Barbados) Breweries Ltd., is a Caribbean brewery founded in 1961 in St. Michael, Barbados, by Guyanese entrepreneur Peter D'Aguiar after the Barbadian government offered tax incentives to attract local brewing investment. The company, which operates as part of the Banks Holdings Limited group, began operations on September 7, 1961, and produces beer and related beverages distributed throughout the Caribbean and in North America and Europe.
