Fredrikstad Bryggeri

Fredrikstad Bryggeri was a brewery in Fredrikstad, Norway, operating from 1877 to 2001 with backing from local timber merchants and Carl Johan Kionig as its first managing director. It produced beer and, until 1980, soft drinks, acquired the competitor Brynildsen in 1980, merged with Borg Bryggerier in 1989, and closed its physical brewery in 2001, though its brand continued to be used for pilsener and Christmas beers made at Borg's facility in Sarpsborg.
