Emerson's Brewery

Emerson's Brewery Limited is a microbrewery based in Dunedin, New Zealand, established in 1992 by Richard Emerson after a trip to Scotland left him disappointed with the beer available back home. The brewery produces eight year round beers and three seasonal beers and has won recognition from beer critics for its European inspired styles. In November 2012 Emerson's was purchased by the Australasian company Lion, which is in turn owned by the Japanese brewing group Kirin.
