Schlenkerla, legally HellerBrau Trum KG, is a historic brewpub in the old town of Bamberg, Germany, tracing its origin to 1405 as a pub called Zum Blauen Lowen and owned and operated by the Trum family for six generations. It is best known for Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier, a smoked beer made using traditional fire-kiln malt drying, alongside other styles including urbock, marzen, weizen and doppelbock.
