Furstenberg Brewery

Furstenberg Brewery is a brewery in Donaueschingen, Germany, established in 1283 when the counts, later princes, of the House of Furstenberg first received a brewing right. It produces pilsner, export and wheat beer sold mainly in southern Germany, and expanded significantly in the eighteenth century before becoming an early adopter of rail distribution in the 1800s. The brewery has been operated by Brau Holding International since 2005, following more than seven centuries of family ownership.
