Distelhauser Brewery is a medium-sized German brewery organized as a limited partnership (GmbH und Co. KG), based in Distelhausen, a district of Tauberbischofsheim in Baden-Wurttemberg. It was founded in 1811 as Brewery Womann and was acquired by Ernst Bauer in 1876. The privately held brewery is a founding member of Die Freien Brauer, an association of independent breweries, and produced about 185,000 hectolitres of beer and shandy drinks annually with 147 employees as of 2015.
