The town brewery of Havlickuv Brod, in the Czech Republic, was originally established on 18 October 1834 and was reopened in 1995 by descendants of its earlier owners. Operating today as the joint-stock company Mestansky pivovar Havlickuv Brod, a.s., it produces the Rebel beer brand, including Rebel Original Premium, Black Rebel, and Czech Rebel Beer, with annual production of about 8.4 million liters.
