The Roman Brewery is a beer brewery in Mater, Belgium, in continuous operation since 1545. It has been family owned since the late sixteenth century, with Joos Roman, a bailli until 1604, regarded as the founding patriarch. Unlike many breweries in the region that make Belgian style sour beers, Brouwerij Roman makes beers in more German and French styles.
