Orval Brewery

Orval Brewery is a Trappist brewery situated within the Abbaye Notre-Dame d'Orval in the Gaume region of Wallonia, Belgium. Established in 1931 to help fund the reconstruction of the monastery, it produces two beers, the widely distributed Orval and the unfiltered Orval Vert, which is sold only at the abbey itself, with total output of around 77,000 hectolitres a year. The brewery employs 32 lay workers and opens to the public only two days each year.
