Duvel Moortgat is a Belgian family-controlled brewing company headquartered in Breendonk, Antwerp Province, founded in 1871 and listed on Euronext Brussels since 1999. Its flagship beer, Duvel, a strong golden pale ale exported to more than forty countries, is widely regarded as the defining example of the Belgian strong pale ale style, and the company also produces the Maredsous abbey beers and Vedett pilsener.
