Brasserie a Vapeur

Brasserie a Vapeur is a Belgian brewery in Pipaix, in the region of Wallonia. Its name means steam brewery, after the vintage steam engine that still drives a single belt running all of the brewery equipment. The original brewery dated to 1785 and was reopened in 1984 by Jean-Louis Dits and his wife. It brews specialty beers including Saison de Pipaix and its flagship Vapeur Cochonne, along with Vapeur en Folie and Vapeur Vanille. Since 1992 the Belgian cartoonist Louis-Michel Carpentier has designed its bottle labels, and the brewery gives tours on the last Saturday of each month.
