Mr Price Group Limited is a South African retail group headquartered in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, operating through multiple subsidiaries across apparel, sportswear, homeware, linen, and financial and telecommunications services, and ranking among South Africa's largest retailers by store count and revenue. Founded in 1985 by Laurie Chiappini and Stewart Cohen, the group operates 3,100 stores across ten brands, including MRP, Studio 88, Sheet Street, Miladys, MRP Home, and MRP Sport, employs more than 32,000 people, and is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange under the ticker MRP, ranking 32nd on the FTSE/JSE Top 40 Index.
