Bath & Body Works, Inc. is an American specialty retailer of personal care and home fragrance products, headquartered in Ohio. The brand was launched in 1990 under the ownership of Limited Brands, the retail conglomerate that also owned Victoria's Secret, selling scented lotions, soaps and candles through mall-based stores. Limited Brands was later renamed L Brands, and in 2021 L Brands split into two separate public companies, with the Bath & Body Works business becoming Bath & Body Works, Inc. in its own right while Victoria's Secret was spun off as a separate independent company.
