Universal Studios Japan

Universal Studios Japan is a theme park in Konohana ku, Osaka, Japan, featuring attractions based on NBCUniversal properties. It is owned and operated by USJ LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast NBCUniversal, and opened on March 31, 2001, at a construction cost of about 1.7 billion dollars. It was the first Universal Studios theme park to open outside the United States, and in 2024 it hosted 16 million visitors, making it the most visited theme park in Asia and the third most visited in the world.
