Brinker International is an American multinational restaurant company headquartered in Dallas, Texas, tracing its roots to the Chili's Grill and Bar chain founded by Larry Lavine in 1975 and taking its present corporate name in 1991 under Norman Brinker. The company owns the Chili's and Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant chains, together operating roughly 1,672 restaurants worldwide, and it trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol EAT.
