Windfields Farm

Windfields Farm was a thoroughbred horse breeding and racing operation established in Oshawa, Ontario, founded by the businessman E. P. Taylor in 1936. The operation grew to encompass about six square kilometers, roughly 1,500 acres, and at its peak stabled more than 600 thoroughbreds. Taylor also established a sister farm in Maryland to accommodate the operation's growth, giving the business a division-based structure across two locations. Windfields Farm remained active until November 2009, when its breeding operations ceased and its remaining horses were sold at auction.
