Universal Islands of Adventure

Universal Islands of Adventure, commonly called Islands of Adventure, is a theme park at Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida, owned by NBCUniversal and operated by Universal Destinations and Experiences. It opened as Universal Studios Islands of Adventure on May 28, 1999, was renamed in 2001, and is organized into eight themed islands built around a concept of exploration. The addition of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in 2010 significantly increased attendance, and the park drew 9.4 million visitors in 2024.
