Global Expeditions Group, also known as GXG, is the parent company of the Sea|mester, ActionQuest, and GoBeyond student travel brands. Its origins trace to 1985 with ActionQuest, founded by Jim Stoll, and the parent company was formed in 2012 to organize the several brands, including ARC, Sirius Sailing, and Lifeworks International, that had grown out of ActionQuest over the following decades.
