Nigloland

Nigloland is an amusement park in Dolancourt, in the French department of Aube, opened on June 1, 1987 by brothers Patrice and Philippe Gelis, who were inspired by a visit to Walt Disney World Resort and its single-entrance-ticket model; the park's mascot and name come from Niglo, the Romani word for hedgehog. It ranks among France's most visited theme parks, behind only Disneyland Paris and Parc Asterix, spans 40 hectares and offers 38 attractions including six roller coasters and four water rides across four themed areas, the Canadian village, the rock and roll village, the magical village and the Swiss village. Its major attractions include Le Donjon de l'Extreme, the tallest attraction of its kind in France at 100 meters, and Alpina Blitz, the first Megalite-type coaster in Europe, and the park also runs the four-star Pirates' Hotel, opened in 2005; it drew a record 763,000 visitors in 2022.
