Legoland Florida Resort

Legoland Florida Resort is a family vacation complex in Winter Haven, Florida, built on the former grounds of the Cypress Gardens theme park after Cypress Gardens closed permanently in 2009. Merlin Entertainments announced the development in January 2010 and opened the resort to the public on 15 October 2011. Merlin owns and operates the 145 acre park, designed for children ages 2 to 12, with more than fifty attractions, restaurants and shops, making it the second largest Legoland park in the world after Legoland Windsor in the United Kingdom. The resort also includes the Legoland Water Park, three on site hotels, and a separately ticketed Peppa Pig theme park that opened in February 2022.
