Legoland Deutschland Resort is a Lego-themed amusement park in Gunzburg, Bavaria, Germany, roughly midway between Munich and Stuttgart. It opened in 2002 and is owned and operated by the British leisure company Merlin Entertainments. The park originally covered about 107 acres and has grown into one of Germany's most visited theme parks, featuring LEGO recreations of European cities and landscapes alongside rides and other attractions.
