Ramoji Film City

Ramoji Film City is an integrated film studio facility and tourist destination outside Hyderabad, India, in Abdullahpurmet, spanning about 2,000 acres. It was established in 1996 by Telugu media proprietor Ramoji Rao and is privately held under the Ramoji Group. The complex contains 47 sound stages and can accommodate up to fifteen simultaneous film shoots, handling four hundred to five hundred film productions a year, and it was recognized as the world's largest film studio complex by Guinness World Records in 2005.
