Bennett Brook Railway

Bennett Brook Railway is a narrow gauge, 2 foot gauge tourist railway located within Whiteman Park, about 19 kilometres from Perth, Western Australia. It is operated by the Western Australian Light Railway Preservation Association, a group of rail enthusiasts formed on 26 April 1976. The railway opened to the public on 8 December 1984, when Peter Dowding, patron of the association, drove the first passenger train from Central Station. The line runs about 6 kilometres at an operating speed of 20 kilometres per hour and offers passenger services chiefly on weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
